Our team is trained in the best treatments for eating disorders. We also know that treatment is hard. Our approach is to use the best treatments, personalized with your unique needs, and used at your pace, to make sure that you have the most successful recovery journey possible.
Leadership
Dr. Cheri A. Levinson, is a licensed psychologist, health service provider, and clinical supervisor at the Louisville Center for Eating Disorders.
Dr. Melissa Gibson serves as Clinical Director of Be Well Kentucky & Louisville Center for Eating Disorders. Dr. Gibson oversees our student training & supervision program. She is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in treating teens & young adults.
Clinicians
Dr. Ashley Ricketts is a psychiatric nurse practitioner who specializes in treating across the life span.
Brenda Arellano Bruckner, M.S., L.P.P., is a bilingual (Spanish and English) Licensed Psychological Practitioner.
Brenna Epifano has experience in the treatment of adults and adolescents with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and Borderline Personality Disorder. She is trained in evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
Dr. Sara Halcomb, PsyD graduated from Spalding University in 2023 with a doctorate in clinical psychology, with an emphasis area of Pediatrics. She completed two post-doctoral fellowships after graduation, one in eating disorders and the other in consultation-liaison work, both at Norton Children’s Hospital through the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Across both fellowships, she delivered services to children and families in the hospital as well as on an outpatient basis.
Kaycee Reed, M.S.W., C.S.W., graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2023 with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Kaycee utilizes a client-centered approach and has experience with several empirically-supported treatments including TF-CBT, CBT, ACT, and DBT.
Anna Smith, graduated from the University of Louisville in 2020 with a Master of Education in Counseling and Personnel Services with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Dietitians
Becky worked as a dietitian for University of Louisville athletics department and provided nutrition support to all sports during her tenure. She supported NCAA individual champions, Olympians, and Final Four bound teams. She is a certified specialist in sports dietetics, trained in Body Positive education, and licensed by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
