OUR SERVICES

About us

We provide evidence based treatments for eating and co-occurring disorders (anxiety, depression).

Evidence-based treatment means that all of our providers specialize in treatments that science has supported as effective. We approach eating disorders from a lens of health at every size (HAES).  In addition, we personalize all of our treatment plans, based on evidence, to make sure that the treatment best fits your unique needs. Here are a few treatments that we specialize in:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Eating Disorders
  • Family Based Therapy for Anorexia Nervosa
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy
  • Perfectionism Therapy
  • Meal-Support Therapy
  • Mindfulness Therapy and Intuitive Eating
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
  • Treatment to Improve Body Image

FAQ

Call 502-205-1114 or contact us here. You can also fill out the consultation form at the bottom of this page. One of our trained staff is available to help you schedule your first session.

The treatments we use at the Louisville Center for Eating Disorders have been shown to reduce disordered eating, anxiety, and depression and improve quality of life.

For outpatient therapy, our sister clinic Be Well Providers is private pay and service costs are based on clinician hourly rates.  We do offer a sliding scale program that provides reduced rates for those with demonstrated financial need.

Our Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs are in network with several insurance companies.  If we are not in network with your insurance provider we are happy to work with your insurance company towards a single case agreement.  These agreements often enable those who are “out of network” the ability to access care.

Our Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs can accept patients as young as 13 years old, though this can vary based on clinical appropriateness.

Your first time in therapy can be intimidating. We do our best to make sure you feel as comfortable as possible. In your first session we will ask you lots of questions about your eating, anxiety, mood, and history. We ask these questions so that we can develop a personalized treatment plan that is best for you.

Our Intensive Outpatient Program and Partial Hospitalization Program are both in network with several insurance providers and we are additionally able to work with many other insurance providers through single case agreements.

Currently all outpatient services are provided through our sister clinic Be Well Providers, which is out of network with all insurance providers. For more information about the cost of services, availability of reimbursement from insurance, and reduced rates through our sliding scale program please click here.
