Virtual Intensive Outpatient Programming (V-IOP)

Virtual Program Information

We offer an individualized program that includes empirically supported therapy, dietetics counseling, and psychiatric support in both individual and group settings.
  • Our V-IOP is 3 hours of programming: Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8am – 2pm
  • Virtual programming is offered where clinically appropriate.

  • This program is ideal for individuals who cannot access our treatment center in person, who need more support than outpatient therapy can offer, or who are transitioning out of residential or partial hospital programs.

Our virtual programming is conducted via confidential platforms and utilizes 360 camera technology so that patients attending virtually can feel like they are sitting at the table, included with everyone else!

We are in-network with:
  • Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • United Healthcare/Optum
  • Passport
  • Carelon
  • Cigna/Evernorth
  • Aetna Commercial & Aetna Better Health
  • Key Benefit Administrators
  • Common SCA: WellCare

Additionally, we can work with most other insurance companies to receive a single case agreement (SCA) to cover your care.

Throughout the program, clients can expect:

  • A Primary Therapist
  • A Secondary Therapist (5 days a week attendance only),
  • A Registered Dietitian
  • A Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
  • A comprehensive treatment team dedicated to their recovery.

Our therapists are trained in treating comorbid diagnoses, with specific expertise in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, PTSD, and anxiety disorders, and are trained to work with a range of populations.

The following Groups are included:

  • Meal Therapy
  • Perfectionism
  • Eating Disorder Thoughts
  • Exposure
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (CBT) Skills
  • Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E)
  • Body Image
  • and more!

We use an evidence-based model that includes a heavy emphasis on exposure therapy and cognitive therapy. We aid you to understand the core fears and address them through skills that help you manage and tolerate distress, regulate your mood without the use of your eating disorder, and work on real world problems. Negative thinking patterns are altered to become adaptive thinking patterns which typically reduce anxiety and depression symptoms along with increasing positive body thoughts, self-esteem, and overall social functioning.

We have a holistic approach when treating a person; not just focusing on symptom reduction.

We pride ourselves on providing individualized treatment for each individual, taking into account your unique biological, psychological, sociological, and cultural factors.
