Samantha Spoor, B.S.
Samantha Spoor, B.S. is the Research Coordinator for the Louisville Center for Eating Disorders as well as the Study Coordinator for the Eating Anxiety Treatment (EAT) Laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Cheri Levinson at the University of Louisville. Samantha obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University at Albany, State University of New York, where she graduated Summa cum Laude with Psychology and Human Development majors.
During her undergraduate career, Samantha worked as a research assistant for both the Anderson Weight and Eating Disorders Laboratory, and the Health Behaviors Laboratory with Dr. Julia Hormes. Samantha supervised and trained as a Wellness Coach as an undergraduate using Motivational Interviewing Skills, and also worked on her own research, producing her Honors Thesis on migraine-associated food cravings. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in the future.
