Regina Robison, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Regina Robison started her psychiatric career at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She worked in the behavioral health units as charge nurse and primary care nurse. She worked on the child, adolescent, adult and geriatric units. She later worked at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids for 7 years in the emergency room as part of the Access Team.
During her time at Mercy Hospital, Regina returned to complete a Bachelor’s in nursing at Mount Mercy College and then transferred to the University of Iowa, College of Nursing to complete the Master’s in Nursing, completing the psychiatric mental health specialty program in 2009.
Regina has been practicing in private practice, crisis stabilization, and hospital inpatient care since 2010. Her main focus of treatment has been psychotropic medication management for the life span.
During Regina’s nursing career she has also worked for a Health Promotion company in Franklin, Tennessee and two insurance companies in Des Moines, Iowa. Regina has been actively involved in music for the past 30 years. Currently, Regina performs with her brother, sister and husband in a family acoustic group.
Regina enjoys working with the other passionate and dedicated clinicians at the Louisville Center for Eating Disorders to bring high quality, evidence based treatment to new and existing clients.
