Dr. Ashley Ricketts is a psychiatric nurse practitioner who specializes in treating across the life span.

She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Louisville in Kentucky and is board certified through American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She began her training at Bellarmine University in KY, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She completed her clinical training at The Louisville Eating Disorder Clinic and the Trager Optimal Aging Institute.  She went on to serve the geriatric population as the clinical lead for the psychiatry advanced practice providers with 360 Care in Louisville, KY.

Ashley’s focus is on the treatment of mood disorders, trauma, psychotic disorders, substance abuse and chronic mental illness through psychiatric assessment and medication management across the life span. Ashley believes in creating an individualized plan of care that values client involvement, interprofessional collaboration and evidenced-based practice. Her goal is to empower her clients and treat their illness through supportive education in a stigma free environment. Her ongoing areas of interest include integrating targeted dietary changes, physical movement, and improved sleep practices as foundations for care. Overall, Ashley tends to be more conservative in her prescribing practices, especially regarding prescribing controlled substances such as benzodiazepines.

She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.

Ashley is married with 3 daughters and Luna her dog. Outside of work she enjoys yoga, friends, family, and music.
