Dr. Katherine “Kate” Price is a licensed clinical psychologist who has committed her training and practice to helping children, adolescents, and families with psychological diagnoses related to medical concerns and acute and chronic illnesses.

After graduating with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University in 2021, with emphasis in Health Psychology. Dr. Price completed her clinical internship in pediatric psychology at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware in August 2021, and she completed her postdoctoral fellowship training in pediatric psychology at St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri in September of 2022. Dr. Price’s internship and fellowship training emphasized the treatment of eating difficulties in children, adolescents, and young adults, including Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder and Anorexia Nervosa, and well as treatment of the broad emotional and behavioral difficulties children and adolescents face.
Dr. Price has further experience with the treatment of children and adolescents with Binge Eating Disorder and Bulimia Nervosa, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, anxiety disorders, adjustment concerns, behavioral concerns (including sleep, toileting, feeding difficulties), functional neurological symptoms, and psychological effects of acute and chronic medical concerns. Dr. Price utilizes evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Parent Management Training, with individuals, groups, and families from a strengths-based and solution-focused perspective. Some other clinical training experiences in which Dr. Price has participated include Norton Children’s Hospital and The Bingham Clinic, Wellstone Regional Hospital, and school-based therapy services through JCPS Family Resources & Youth Services Centers.
A native of Louisville, Dr. Price enjoys spending time outside, dining out, and seeing live music.
